Christopher Ray Garcia, a 37-year-old man from Lubbock, Texas, tragically died on January 11, 2022. According to police reports, Garcia was shot in the backseat of a vehicle during an altercation with another passenger. The incident occurred in the 7000 block of University Avenue, and Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, who was an acquaintance of Garcia, reported that the suspect fled on foot after the shooting.
