Louis Ray Finchem, age 67, was fatally shot on April 25, 2010, in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident added to a challenging year for the city, which recorded one of the highest homicide rates in the last decade. Finchem was one of the many victims of violent crime in St. Louis during that year, with the city ultimately experiencing at least 142 homicides in 2010.
