Tiano Meton, a 25-year-old man, died on January 22, 2015, in Sierra Blanca, Texas. He was shot and killed by Border Patrol agents after allegedly driving through a checkpoint without stopping. The incident began when Meton pulled into the inspection lane at the Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 10 but did not stop. After leading authorities on a 30-mile chase, Meton finally stopped, and one of the agents yelled "Gun!" before two agents opened fire. A "pistol-shaped pellet gun" was recovered ...
