Pfc. Elvis Lee Bingham, a 35-year-old male soldier originally from Gainesville, Georgia, died on March 7, 2015, from an apparent gunshot wound at his off-post residence in Killeen, Texas. Bingham had recently returned from a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and was assigned to the 43rd Engineer Company, 2nd Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood.
