Jason Smoot II, a 17-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically passed away on February 23, 2015, in Killeen, Texas. He was born on July 2, 1997, in Southfield, Michigan, to Geana Brown and Jason Smoot. Jason attended Ellison and Gateway High Schools in Killeen, Texas, and was looking forward to graduating and pursuing a career in audio engineering.
He was passionate about music, reading, writing stories and rap lyrics, swimming, art, and spending time with family.
Unfortunately, Jason's life was cut short due to an unfortunate accident. The details surrounding the accident have not led to any arrests, suspects, litigations, murder cases, or ongoing investigations. His death was a significant loss to his family, friends, and community, who remember him for his charming personality, great sense of humor, and infectious smile.
Jason's funeral was held on March 7, 2015, at Greater Vision Community Church in Killeen, Texas, followed by burial at Killeen City Cemetery. He is deeply missed by his parents, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents, and many other relatives and friends.
