Robert Byrd Jr., a 41-year-old African American male from Killeen, Texas, tragically died on November 9, 2015, from a gunshot wound. He was found suffering from the injury in the 2800 block of Tucker Drive and was later pronounced dead at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. The Killeen Police Department launched an investigation into his death, which was determined to be a homicide.
