On May 23, 2015, Francisco Capetillo-Medina, a 40-year-old Hispanic male, was shot to death in broad daylight in front of a convenience store in Houston, TX. The incident was captured on surveillance video, but the investigation did not progress significantly until a tip was received from Crime Stoppers implicating Daniel Antonio Ferrer as the suspect.
