The suspects reportedly fled the scene after the shooting. Further investigation led to the identification and arrest of Javon Chatman, a 22-year-old black male, who was charged with capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Chatman was arrested by an outside agency on unrelated charges on February 17, 2020.
