Earl V. Ricks, a 33-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was killed on October 17, 2010, while riding his bicycle. The incident occurred near 34th Street and Bellefontaine Avenue. According to reports, Ricks was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant while he was cycling. Emergency services arrived at the scene, but Ricks succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
