On August 8, 2015, Caleb Curtis Jackson, a 9-year-old boy from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life along with his family members in a horrific mass shooting. The incident occurred in their home when David Ray Conley III, the father of Caleb's half-sibling, broke into the house and held the family hostage for nine hours before fatally shooting them. Caleb, who was born on April 20, 2006, was one of seven children in the family, all of whom had special needs.
