Domingo Perez Jr., a 43-year-old man from New Braunfels, Texas, was found shot to death in his car on October 13, 2015. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Pit Stop No. 2 mart near Interstate 35. Initially, police believed Perez was asleep or passed out in the vehicle, but they soon discovered he had been shot. Despite efforts by fire and EMS to revive him, Perez was pronounced dead at the scene.
