Chase Allen Hyland, a 41-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity from New Braunfels, Texas, passed away suddenly on November 3, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1979, in Houston, Texas, and was the son of Judy Hyland Coltharp and the late Thomas Alvin Hyland. Chase was a dedicated educator who taught AP and Dual Credit History Classes at New Braunfels High School for 10 years. He was also a coach for UIL Social Studies and Current Issues and was named New Braunfels ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year
