On April 16, 2016, Asma Zafar, a 33-year-old woman of Pakistani ethnicity, was tragically shot to death in her home in Arlington, Texas. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Asma was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner determined that she died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Asma's husband, Ghufran Zafar, was arrested later that day as he was seen driving slowly past the home while police were still investigating the scene. Ghufran was taken into ...
