On May 9, 2020, 24-year-old Simone Taylor was tragically shot and killed at an apartment complex in Arlington, Texas. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. when Arlington police responded to a shooting call near the 2500 block of Forest Point Drive. Upon arrival, they found Taylor with a gunshot wound to her chest and transported her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
