On March 5, 2011, Maurice C. Robinson, a 24-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was found dead at the intersection of 24th and Indiana Avenue. His body was discovered early in the morning, around 7:30 a.m., showing "obvious signs of trauma." The exact cause of death was not initially disclosed, but the case was classified as a homicide by the Kansas City Police Department.
