In the early morning hours of March 5, 2011, the body of 24-year-old Maurice C. Robinson was discovered at the intersection of 24th and Indiana Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Responders arriving at the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m. noted that Robinson showed clear signs of trauma, and the Kansas City Police Department subsequently classified his death as a homicide.
