Specialist Bernardino Guevara Jr., a 21-year-old male soldier of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on June 6, 2016, at Fort Hood, Texas. He was a member of the 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, specifically assigned to the 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. Guevara, originally from Roxbury, Massachusetts, entered active-duty service in September 2014 as a Patriot Launching Station Enhanced Operator.
