Donald Ray Perkins, a 36-year-old man from Abilene, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on June 26, 2016. His death was the result of a violent confrontation that stemmed from a serious family dispute. According to court documents and witness testimonies, Michael Shawn Gootee, 39, and Kimberly Mansell, 42, were both involved in the incident.
