Makansinh Udavat, a 61-year-old man of Indian ethnicity, was tragically killed on August 29, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas. Udavat, who was the owner of a convenience store on Blanco Road, was shot by a gunman while trying to keep the store's front doors closed alongside his wife. His wife survived the attack, but Udavat succumbed to his injuries.
