Dedrick Earl, a 22-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically passed away on November 16, 2016, in Austin, Texas. He was fatally shot at an apartment complex located at 8800 North Interstate 35. The incident occurred when Dedrick and a witness were asked by Melvin Stephens, 47, to clean ashes off Stephens' car. Stephens confronted them with a revolver, and after an argument, he shot Dedrick Earl twice on the stairs of the apartment building. Dedrick was taken to University Medical C ...
