On March 15, 2017, 21-year-old Ruler Bailey was shot to death in East Austin, Texas, following an argument at an apartment complex on Springdale Road. The altercation led to Bailey being shot multiple times, resulting in his death. Despite extensive investigations and numerous witness interviews, the case remains unsolved and has been classified as a cold case.
