On January 17, 2017, Travis Hicklin, a 24-year-old male from Royse City, Texas, tragically lost his life in an incident that was later determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident occurred at a residence on Laurel Lane in Royse City, where Travis Hicklin and another man, James Stevens, 42, were found dead from gunshot wounds. The police investigation revealed that Stevens' wife and child were present in the home at the time of the shooting but were unharmed.
