Terrance Valentine II, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 9, 2017, in San Marcos, Texas. He was fatally shot during what witnesses described as a drug deal gone wrong at the Avenue Apartments. According to reports, Valentine and another man got into an argument during the transaction, which escalated when both men pulled out handguns. Valentine was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
