Khambrail Winters, a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on November 24, 2020, in San Marcos, Texas. He was a sophomore defensive back on the Texas State University football team and a former student at Alief Taylor High School in Houston. Winters died from a gunshot wound to the chest at the scene of the incident, which occurred at The Lodge Apartments on Aquarena Springs Drive.
