Demarcus Trey Allen, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 5, 2019, in San Marcos, Texas. The incident occurred at the Village on Telluride apartments, where Allen was staying as a guest. In the early morning hours, San Marcos police responded to a call from a resident who had discovered a loose dog and followed it to an apartment with a kicked-in door. Upon arrival, officers found Allen's lifeless body in the living room, where he had been fatally shot while asleep. ...
