On May 5, 2017, Jimmy Kollman, an 82-year-old man from Austin, Texas, was found dead in his home from a gunshot wound. The Austin Police Department determined that his death was a result of a murder-suicide. Kollman's son, 54-year-old Joseph Kollman, shot and killed his father before turning the gun on himself inside a shed in the backyard.
