On December 13, 2024, at approximately 1:41 a.m., 17-year-old Carlos Arturo Sotelo was fatally shot during an attempted robbery at the Griffis at The Domain apartments in north Austin, Texas. Sotelo and others were in a vehicle in the parking garage when multiple armed suspects approached and attempted to rob them at gunpoint.
