Messiah Justice Marshall, a 10-month-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on June 14, 2017, in Houston, Texas. He was shot while his father, Nigel Marshall, was taking him for a walk outside the Nob Hill Apartments in southwest Houston. The incident occurred when three men approached the father and began firing multiple rounds. Despite the father's attempts to shield his son, at least one bullet struck the baby, leading to his death at a nearby Valero gas station.
