Shohn Richard Cowen Jr., a 20-year-old male from Mesquite, TX, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2017. He was one of two victims found shot to death at Shands Park in Mesquite around 11:15 p.m. The incident was part of an ongoing dispute between the individuals involved, rather than a random act of violence.
