In the summer of 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri, a friend of 42-year-old Keith T. Porter made a tragic discovery that would mark the city's 39th homicide of the year. On the evening of June 2nd, the friend found Porter unresponsive inside his home located in the 2700 block of James Cool Papa Bell Avenue. It was determined that he had been fatally shot in the chest sometime between 8:30 p.m. and midnight.
