Eric Torrez, a 41-year-old Hispanic man from Abilene, Texas, was tragically killed on July 21, 2017. Torrez was lured into a trap by a group of individuals who had planned to kidnap his juvenile daughter and remove her from his custody. The group, consisting of David Navarro, Stephen Lynn Jennings, Kristen Anne Jennings, Garry Lynn Jennings, and Angella Rebecca Wray, orchestrated a plan to capture Torrez and hold him against his will.
