Antonio Fletcher, a 53-year-old man from San Angelo, Texas, tragically died on June 5, 2020, from injuries sustained in a shooting incident. The incident occurred at his residence in the 1200 block of Daniel Street, where his wife, Lisa Clemons, reported a domestic dispute. When police arrived, they found Fletcher with a gunshot wound to his left cheek. He was transported to Shannon Hospital in serious condition but showed no signs of brain activity and was placed on a ventilator.
Unfortunately, he passed away the next day due to the gunshot-related injuries.
Lisa Clemons, 38, was arrested at the scene and initially charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. However, the charge was later upgraded to first-degree felony murder after an investigation revealed that Clemons had made threats to kill Fletcher and had purchased a handgun in April 2020. Clemons had a history of domestic violence, including a previous arrest in 2019 for assaulting Fletcher with a gun. She was indicted on July 8, 2020, and remained in custody with a $1 million bond.
