On January 11, 2014, the San Angelo community was shaken by the tragic loss of Raul "Roy" Rodriguez, a 20-year-old Hispanic male. Born on January 5, 1994, Roy had just celebrated his milestone birthday days before his untimely passing. He was the beloved son of Raul Rodriguez of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Angelina Alvarado of San Angelo, Texas. Roy was also a devoted father to his young son, Fabian Jayden Rodriguez.
