Julie Martinez, a 34-year-old woman from Baytown, Texas, tragically lost her life on September 16, 2017. She was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Roy Garcia, Jr., in front of her two children, a teenage daughter and a 5-year-old son. The incident occurred after a heated argument between the couple, with Martinez attempting to leave the house in her SUV. Garcia followed her and opened fire on the vehicle, hitting Martinez.
