Maria Ibarra, a 77-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity from Eagle Pass, Texas, tragically passed away on October 5, 2017. She was found deceased alongside her husband, Ernesto Ibarra, at their ranch near the Dos Republicas Coal Partnership Eagle Pass Mine. Both victims suffered gunshot wounds to the chest, and the incident was initially investigated as a possible murder-suicide.
