Lucila R. Barnes, a 72-year-old Hispanic woman from Houston, Texas, tragically died on October 21, 2021. Her death was the result of a violent and disturbing incident involving her son, Robert Barnes. Robert Barnes, aged 36 at the time, was arrested and charged with her murder. According to court documents, Barnes confessed to shooting his mother multiple times before dismembering her body and hiding it in a homemade box inside the family's garage.
