On April 4, 2023, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Houston police responded to a shooting at an apartment complex located at 7901 Leonora Street in southeast Houston. Upon arrival, officers discovered 54-year-old Monica Navarre, known in the neighborhood as "Snow," lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds.
