Daniel Perez, a 55-year-old man from Lubbock, Texas, tragically died on October 5, 2017, from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The incident occurred at a residence in the 8500 block of County Road 2600 in Northeast Lubbock County. According to reports, Perez was at the home with Kenneth Lee Cate, 56, and another man, and they were drinking together.
