Dominic Mejia, a 13-year-old boy from Lubbock, Texas, tragically died on October 8, 2019. The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office reported that Dominic Mejia was accidentally shot in the head by a younger family member. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. in the 3500 block of County Road 6000. Dominic was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
