Jo Ann Lookingbill Ward, a 30-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on November 5, 2017, in the horrific Sutherland Springs church shooting at the First Baptist Church in Texas. Alongside her, her two daughters, 5-year-old Brooke Ward and 7-year-old Emily Garcia, also perished in the attack. Her stepson, Ryland Ward, was shot five times but survived after undergoing surgery. Another daughter, Rhianna Garcia, was not injured.
