Emily Rain Garcia, a 7-year-old girl of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life on November 5, 2017, in the Sutherland Springs church shooting. She was attending the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs with her mother, Joann Ward, and her siblings when the incident occurred.
