Peggy Lynn Stevens Warden, a 56-year-old woman from La Vernia, Texas, tragically lost her life on November 5, 2017, during the horrific mass shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. She was attending the church service with her grandson, Zachary Poston, when the gunman, Devin Kelley, opened fire on the congregation.
