On November 8, 2017, Trintin Glenn, a 12-year-old boy from Kountze, Texas, tragically died in an accidental shooting. Trintin and a friend were playing with a hunting rifle at a home in the 2600 block of FM 418 when the rifle accidentally discharged, fatally injuring him. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m., and Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis confirmed that it was an accident.
