Ahmed Omar, a 56-year-old male of African-American ethnicity, was tragically murdered on February 16, 2018, in Plano, Texas. Omar was the beloved owner of the Sav Mor Food Store in Dallas, known for his generosity and dedication to the community. He was fatally shot in the driveway of his home in the 4200 block of McAlice Drive. Police believe that Omar was targeted and killed during a robbery, as he was known to bring home cash at the end of the day.
