Robert Leonard Patterson, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot on February 21, 2018, at the Best Western Plus hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Patterson was in a hotel room with his girlfriend when the incident occurred. The suspects, a man and a woman, shot Patterson and critically injured his girlfriend before demanding her car keys. Patterson was declared dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound.
