Anastasia Simms, an 18-year-old female, tragically lost her life on February 14, 2021, in a shooting incident at the Cottage Creek Apartments on the Northeast Side of San Antonio, Texas. She was one of two victims in the incident, the other being Leah Anders, who was 19 years old. The shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. when a suspect fired multiple shots into their apartment from outside. Both women were found dead in the living room, and another man inside the apartment was grazed by bullets.
