Garyan Lamont Cain, a 26-year-old African American male from Amarillo, Texas, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2018. He was discovered at around 9:00 p.m. in the 300 block of North West 15th Avenue, having succumbed to a gunshot wound. The Amarillo Police Department Special Crimes Unit was promptly notified and initiated an investigation into the incident.
