On September 29, 2004, Golia "Goldie" Warren, a 29-year-old African American woman from Amarillo, Texas, was tragically killed. She died from multiple gunshot wounds. Her husband, 44-year-old Donald Ray Davis, was charged with her death. According to police reports, their relationship had been plagued by domestic violence.
