Barry Ray Hemphill, a 42-year-old man from Amarillo, Texas, was tragically found dead on July 17, 2020. Hemphill was discovered near the 100 block of South Tennessee Street in Amarillo, with an apparent upper-body gunshot wound. The Amarillo Police Department launched an investigation into the homicide, identifying Darius Qumaine Allen, a 29-year-old man, as the primary suspect.
