Rene Soto, a 42-year-old man from Amarillo, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on June 17, 2018, while standing in his doorway. The incident occurred when Gregorio Moreno Navarrete drove to Soto's house and shot him from the street. Soto succumbed to his injuries, leading to a murder investigation.
