Carlos Montenegro, a 65-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead on July 30, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. The Amarillo Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at East Park in the 700 block of South Ross Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Montenegro's body at the scene. The APD Homicide Unit was called to investigate the incident.
